As a member of this group, you'll see a variety of posts including:
? Announcements for upcoming swaps and round robins ? Pictures and articles about things people have made/purchased/received in connection with a swap ? Requests for penpals ? And probably a few articles in connection with organizing all of the events that happen here. Please join us if you are interested in swaps and round robins. What are swaps? People agree to buy or make one or more things to send to one or more people via snail mail. This could range from swapping bubble bath to swapping items you personally make like a hat or an ATC. Most swaps will be organized via Swap-Bot.com What are round robins? A group of people interested in a topic start a series of letters. One person starts the robin with an introduction and something about the topic. The letter is mailed to the next person in the group. The second person writes a letter, adds it to the letter the first person sent, and mails it on to the third person. This continues until everyone has received the packet of letters. When the packet comes back to you for a second round, you take out your letter from the first round, read the new letters, write a new letter, add it to the packet and mail it on. Round robins can continue for a set number of rounds or until the group members are no longer interested in keeping it going. Round robins are a great way of meeting new people and learning/sharing about a topic of interest. People don't hesitate to post questions or queries about possible swaps or round robins. Group Stats
